Spring or Winter, and a short quiz

Well, I am doing my weekly FOB2Y post, but first, I just have to say that the weather must be bipolar or something. We've had days that were near 90 degrees in the past several weeks. However, this weekend, the forecast is for 3-6 inches of snow!!! I know that I was kind of bummed that we didn't really get any snow this year, so Rachel couldn't get out and play in it. But to be honest, I wasn't looking for any at this point. Just when we're breaking out the springy clothes and planning outdoor activities, we get this. Oh well.

On to the quiz.

You Are Facebook

You are social, outgoing, and excited to connect to your friends.

You are interested in your friends' lives, and you enjoy adding your opinion to the mix.

While you enjoy sharing online, you don't want everyone to know your business.

You value your privacy. Your life is an open book to those you know but not to strangers.

I'm pleased with my results. I don't Twitter...see no point in it...and I don't do MySpace. But I've recently become a Facebooker, and really enjoy it. So yay for good quiz results!

Are you chocolate or vanilla? I want an ice cream soda LOL. Today's SSD FOB2Y post is meant to make us ruin diets, I think!

You Are Vanilla

You are a delightful, friendly person. You are optimistic about life and people.

You are enthusiastic and energetic. You enjoy everything you do.

You are cooperative and flexible. You get along with people from many walks of life.

You're not a show off. Instead, you're more likely to help other people shine.

Cookie time, and Happy Birthday!

I have to start this post with a big happy birthday to that plastic blonde icon, Barbie, who turned 50 this week. Have you seen the reproductions of some very popular versions of the past? I really really want to snag one or two that are repro's of dolls that I had as a child...Superstar Barbie (with snazzy pink glittery boa LOL) and Malibu Barbie with a hideous looking tan. They're a bit pricey so I will probably pass though.
Also, my dear hubby's birthday is tomorrow...and he's oh so thrilled to realize that he is even older than Barbie. We've gotten a gift for him from Rachel, but I haven't gotten him anything from me yet...I was going to take care of that today, but it's been sleeting and snowing all day, so it might have to wait until tomorrow.
I've not felt super scrappy lately...the weather has been blah and that's pretty much how I've felt, but I've done a handful of pages.

Rachel at the zoo, scrapped with Sherri Tierney's X's and O's

Scrapped with Lauren Grier & Heather Roselli's You Make the World Go Round

With Heather Roselli's Squeaky Clean

With Connie Prince & Lisa West's Star Struck

Two pages with Connie Prince's Easy Breezy

And now, what you've all been waiting for...girl scout cookie time! Um, do people really look forward to this time of year? LOL. I haven't bought them in several years, but I do recall at one time liking Samoas/Caramel deLites...although the last time I tried one, I thought that they were too sweet for my liking. If I had to buy any now, I'd probably go for the Peanut Butter Patties or Do-Si-Dos.

Is it springtime yet?

I have to wonder...yesterday morning is was downright cold and very windy here. Today it's supposed to be 88 degrees...this weekend we're going to be in the 60s and next week will be in the 40s again. I'm bummed that we didn't get any snow to speak of, but oh well. Springtime's coming...I'm looking forward to seeing leaves on the trees and flowers blooming. We definitely need rain though...I welcome the thunderstorms but NOT the tornadoes.

Along the same line of thinking, SSD's FOB2Y challenge is all about flowers today...I'm supposed to choose my favorite bunch of flowers...

Your Daisies Say You're Very Resilient

You have a spirt of pure optimism. Your view of the world is eternally cheerful.

You are bold and vibrant. Incredibly striking, you always stand out in a crowd.

You are adaptable and flexible. You can thrive in almost any situation.

You are often under estimated. Your critics and enemies are in for a surprise.

*SNORT* this is WAY WAY WAY off base LOL!!!

My IRL favorite flowers weren't an option, so I'm going to show them to you myself.
